Gov. Bill Owens To Speak At CU-Boulder Real Estate Conference

Bill Owens will be the keynote speaker at the 2002 CU Real Estate Council Annual Conference, “2002: Finding the Silver Lining.” Owens will discuss the growth, education and transportation issues facing Colorado. The conference is Feb. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Denver Marriott City Center, 1701 California St. Presented by the CU-Boulder Leeds School of Business Real Estate Center, the conference will bring together Colorado’s most influential real estate professionals to discuss how to build long-term viability in challenging economic times. Other topics to be covered include current real estate trends in the Colorado market and how Colorado compares to other markets. The conference is free to CU Real Estate Council members and is $175 for nonmembers. Attendance at the conference satisfies State of Colorado real estate and AIA continuing education requirements. The CU Real Estate Center provides real estate curriculum at the graduate and undergraduate levels, develops real estate internships for students and fosters relationships between professionals and the university.
